Weatherford CPA firm is looking for a talented professional to join their team. Ideally looking to hire experienced accountant with minimum 1-3 years previous experience. The position is centered around tax preparation and includes (but not limited to) other accounting services within financial statements, IRS correspondence, and client advisory. Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns
• Research tax laws and regulations
• Work closely with clients to address tax and accounting needs
• Utilize and develop an understanding of our tax software and technology
• Ensure security and confidentiality pertaining to client matters

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate
• 1-3 years previous public accounting experience
• QuickBooks experience
