The Director of Finance for Denison Ministries is responsible for stewarding the resources we are given in order to create a sustained, scalable organization. Core responsibilities include budget creation and management, financial forecasting, and business process improvement. The Director of Finance must be detail oriented and have a relevant professional certification.
Supervise the Finance and Operations Team
Supervise the Finance functions of the organization, including bookkeeping, month and year-end close, account reconciliations, and credit card expense reporting.
Supervise the Operations functions of the organization including donation management, donor services and CRM, premium fulfillment and related systems.
Manage the financial systems of record and create financial reporting across brands and divisions for internal and external communication.
Manage accounts payable process including vendor account maintenance, disbursement of funds, and annual 1099s filings, as needed. Manage accounts receivable process including customer account maintenance, invoice creation, and receipt of payments.
Develop and manage the annual expense budget and revenue projection including budget system management, ongoing expense and revenue re-forecasting, reporting, and communications with brand and division leaders.
Lead the annual 990 and 990-T projects with outside consulting.
Lead the annual audit proceedings with the Chief Operating Officer.
Develop and execute policies that promote the values and culture of the organization with the Chief Operating Officer.
Develop and manage cash flow forecasts.
Develop and maintain professional relationships in related businesses and non-profits.
All other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

Minimum of 3-5 years of directly related work experience
Relevant professional certification (CPA, CIA)
Proficiency with Accounting software, CRM systems, MS Office and the G-Suite
