The City of Austin Employees’ Retirement System (COAERS) is currently seeking candidates for an Accountant position.  Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position makes journal entries, performs staff payroll, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and travel reimbursements.   The position also prepares financial data for reporting and month-end and year-end closings.  The position also monitors and communicates budget expenses to internal users. COAERS offers a hybrid work schedule meaning this position will work in an office environment with opportunities to work remotely.
