RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare complex individual, partnership, trust, gift and tax-exempt entity tax returns • Perform review of tax returns prepared by tax staff • Serves as a technical resource and mentor for tax staff • Identify tax issues or planning opportunities • Assist in tax research • Review and draft responses to tax notices • Assist with client billing
ACCOUNTABILITIES • Demonstrates time management and organizational skills to meet client and tax compliance deadlines • Self-directed and self-motivated work ethic that contributes to the client service team by producing quality work • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to details
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • MST and CPA certification highly desirable • Minimum 2 years public accounting experience in taxation
