Tax Return Preparer will input tax information into Lacrete tax software. Will advise VP and President on issues that appear while preparing tax returns and will advise VP and President on additional information needed from the client to successfully complete the returns.
Role will be part time year round with March, April, and October being the most worked months of the year. This role has the potential to complete up to 250 returns a year or less depending on availability. Resulting in close to 310 work hours a year.
-At least 3+ years of experience filing federal and state returns for Form 1040 Individuals
-Experience with tax software, preferably Lacerte
-$30 - $40 an hour worked, depending on work experience, paid semi-weekly
-Hybrid with ability to work from home and able to choose your own hours to work
We are a small firm located just north of At&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. We are changing shareholders in a buyout plan and are growing rapidly at an average of 10-20% per year. We are looking for established bookkeeper and tax return preparers that are willing to work part time.
