Responsibilities:
An ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in nonprofit financial statement audits. You’ll apply your knowledge of client’s procedures, methods, business goals and risks to improve each financial statement audit.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Taking initiative and managing multiple client engagements.
Maintaining good client relationships by communicating effectively.
Evaluate working papers and determine that the assignment was performed in accordance with the proper expertise and standards.
Performs preliminary planning and establishes direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned auditors, manage project to quality outcomes, while meeting established time budget.
Mentoring and assisting younger professionals.
Develop a responsible and trained staff. Assist in recruiting, developing training aids, and be an instructor in professional development programs.
Candidates should have a high level of professionalism, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, with all levels of our Firm and with clients. Additionally, candidates should have:
At least three years of recent audit experience in public accounting.
Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage people and multiple projects effectively.
Ability to make appropriate decisions regarding audit issues.
Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
